Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>In order to identify areas where broadband service with speeds of at least 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload (100x20) are and are not available, a field data collection of broadband assets (points) and infrastructure (lines) was undertaken to catalog these data. Data were not collected for the entire state; the data collection was targeted in areas believed to have 100x20 broadband as of the 2021 Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) broadband data collection and in Opportunity Zones; areas excluded from the data collection include some cities (e.g., Lansing, Grand Rapids), some counties (Macomb, Oakland, Wayne), areas with only 100x20 DSL or Fixed Wireless, and areas funded through the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund Program (RDOF) unless an area defaulted as of September 21, 2022. These data are to be used to confirm where assets and infrastructure capable of delivering 100x20 broadband service areas are available and where the service ends/stops in targeted areas to know where to precisely focus should be directed to expand services in underserved and unserved areas. </SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
